A Boy and his Dog

I am finally am getting around to uploading a scrapbook layout of our son Arron and his Puppy Cleo.   The scan does not do this layout justice. The black matt background is cut off and the chipboard did not scan very well.

Cardstock: SU Basic Black, Old Olive and Ultra Smooth White
Patterned Paper: Nostalgiques from EK Success Ltd. The circle patterned paper ( unknown source).
Inks: Tim Holtz Distress Inks:  Shabby Shutters, Black Soot, Stampin Up:  Black Craft, Old Olive and So Saffron re-inkers
Scallop Punch SU: to make the border
Ranger Perfect Pearls: for painting the chipboard
Stamps: Splat Stamp in circle and lined Wafer Stamp are from Innovative Stamp Creations: Listen Closely and Textured Backgrounds. SU Stamps: Wanted and Bronc Buster.
Chipboard: SU On Board – Lots of Letters  click here to see special on chipboard

One or two discovers I made when creating this layout; if you are having trouble pulling colors together with your patterned paper, that will compliment the photo, just add some stamping and distressing.  Painting the chipboard with a mixture of SU reinkers and Ranger Perfect Pearls was another awesome discovery. Thanks Michelle

If anyone is wishing to purchase, in Canada, Perfect Pearls, Ranger Inks or Betsy’s awesome Innovative Stamps click here  to see more goodies. This photo bucket is my Friend Elaine Seip’s temporary online store. Check it out, she has lots of stamps and awesome products.

Oh yes, if you live in the Weyburn, Saskatchewan area,  don’t forget to call me if you would like some Stampin Up products.

Hugs and Happy Scrappin this weekend.

I was searching for \’Discover Card Canada\’ at google and found your post named \’and his Dog - ShadesOfStamping.com - Connie Paxman, Stampin Up!® Demonstrator\’ in search results. Not very relevant result, but still interesting to read.
